
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Imam Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, has issued a decree appointing Major General Mostafa Izadi as the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC.
The full text of this decree is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
IRGC Major General Mostafa Izadi,
In view of your commitment, competence, and valuable experience, and upon the recommendation of the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, I hereby appoint you to the position of Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
It is expected that you will take on a jihadi approach in enhancing the level of organizational readiness, through a division of roles and missions in line with the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC.
It is hoped that with divine blessings and under the auspices of the highly benevolent prayers of our Master [Imam Mahdi] (aj), further successes and various kinds of victories and triumphs will be achieved by all the Armed Forces of the Islamic system.
