The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Imam Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, has issued a decree appointing Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
The full text of this decree is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari,
In view of your commitment, competence, and valuable experience, and upon the recommendation of the Chief of Staff, I hereby appoint you to the position of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
It is expected that you will assist in enhancing defense and security capabilities, strengthening the spiritual foundation and jihadi spirit of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and attending to the needs of personnel, while giving due regard to the views of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
It is hoped that the attention and prayers of our Master [Imam Mahdi] (aj) will lead to your ever-increasing success and the success of all the members of the Armed Forces.
